The José Limón Dance Foundation is thrilled to bring back the annual celebration of our dancers, supporters, and community. This year’s event is reenvisioned to focus on new partnerships illustrating the many facets of José Limón’s identity and honor individuals whose work exemplify service to the performing arts field. Limón Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award: Virginia Johnson, Artistic Director of Dance Theater of Harlem Limón Foundation Award for Philanthropy: Jay H. McDowell, Withers Worldwide The evening will begin with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres followed by performances featuring Limón4Kids, Limón2, and the Limón Dance Company performing Psalm. It will conclude with a celebratory dinner and award ceremony for our honorees. 5:30 pm - VIP/Sponsor entrance 6:00 pm – Cocktails 7:00 pm – Performance 8:30 pm – Dinner & Awards Presentation Festival cocktail attire. All funds raised for the evening will directly support the José Limón Dance Foundation’s ongoing operations, including the Limón Dance Company and the Limón Institute.
